Hello,
A bit about me.
My name is Steve. I am happily married with two amazing daughters and I live in East Yorkshire.
For many years I have been interested in the paranormal, but to be more specific - ghosts and hauntings. I do not have any interest in U.F.O's in case you were wondering. I used to run a small group called Paranormal 'Ull - later known as Paranormal Hull Research Group, it was a small but friendly group of people who all had the same interest as myself. We all met online and held regular chat nights online where we would discuss our thoughts about the paranormal and plan our outings or ghost hunts. We visited many places together, enjoyed it together and got frightened together. A fair few experiences were had but like many things it all came to an end as each of us had other, more important commitments. It is sad that it had to end but it is nice to have the memories from our time together as a group.
For me personally, the break up of the group was, while understandable, a bit upsettng and my interest seemed to fall by the way side - it felt pointless with no one to share and discuss it with. However, a few years later I entered into a new line of work (that I cannot talk about here) and within these places I was working in I started to experience things, strange feelings, seeing things, voices, physical contact and more. These occurances, I suppose, sparked my interest again and eventually I learned that other people I worked with had experienced things too! At work, we talked about things but never in really great detail - it was more telling ghost stories (which is cool too!). My interest started to come back and I would tell my family about the things experienced at work which they seemed to enjoy listening to as much as I enjoyed telling, especially my youngest daughter who would go and tell all her friends!
At the height of my interest I spent many hours reading, researching and talking to others with the same interest - some of which you will be able to read about later and also watching paranormal shows on TV (some of which were very questionable in my opinion) but more recently my oldest daughter introduced me to a show called Ghost Adventures (Zak Bagan and Co.). Now yes, this is just another TV show that we all know could be edited but honestly, I do think it is believable - if nothing else very entertaining. Watching this show with my wife and kids has really started to make me think about it all again, remember my own experiences and think about my beliefs and opinions, so, I decided to put this site together to write about it all and hopefully for you to enjoy. I will try to include pictures if I still have any but all I ask is that you understand that these are just my experiences and beliefs, I only intened this website to be entertaining. I am sure there will be people who will not believe what I write and that is fine too.
