Mediumship is another of those subjects within the paranormal that I find fascinating.  Like I mentioned in My Thoughts On The Paranormal page there are those who set out to prey on the weak and vunerable but let us forget about those for the time being and concentrate on those with a genuine gift of being able to communicate with the deceased.

Very recently I had a great chat with a  friend, Garreth, about things he feels are happening in his home.  Things he told me were made sense of when he visited a Spiritualist Church here in Hull - his partner has visited this place for quite some time and he decided to go with her. Garreth telephoned me with great excitement, he told me how the Medium had spoken directly with him, mentioning things Garreth could relate to perfectly and understood without confusion or vagueness. I was very pleased for him, he found a lot of comfort in it all and it certainly answered a few questions for him.

This prompted me to do a little research on mediumship for myself, so, I contacted local, well known medium Anita Gordon in hope she would consider talking to me about mediumship from her point of view. I am pleased to say that Anita returned my call and has agreed to talk to me hopefully in the near future. My aim is to eventually talk about it on here, give my findings and hope you enjoy what you read. I am not trying to debunk Anita in any way, I just hope to obtain a better understanding that I can share.

My second avenue of research will be to visit the Spiritualist Church with Garreth, hopefully get to chat with a few people there too, both mediums and visitors.
